Halide Osman is a Sydney based artist, wife, mum of two extremely cheeky girls, foodie and an avid shoe collector.
Her years have consisted of continuous creativity. Art in general always was and always will be a big and essential part of her life. This is why, when she finished school, she gained an Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts and has managed to get her foot in the door of the competitive and creative artistic world we live in.
Her artwork is currently being used on Bucketfeet sneakers, she has exhibited in Sydney and Brisbane, her designs are featured on Sydney electrical boxes and sells her pieces across Australia and worldwide.
With many large companies these days selling knock-off, mass produced and cheap prints - it’s always been important for Halide to keep her art affordable so buyers could have a chance of possessing an original piece of art that will last forever.
She is always looking to learn and experiment with new techniques. As of late she has been doodling away abstract illustrations and drawings using ink, but also focuses on photography, acrylic and watercolour paintings, mixed media, graphic art and designing.
Halide’s inspiration stems from her surroundings in this crazy world. She believes sometimes you just have to look beyond the surface for simple motivation.
